Ovomorph Cookies
Ingredients: ▪️3.5 cups of flour ▪️0.5 tsp of salt ▪️1 cup of butter (softened) ▪️2/3 cup of sugar ▪️1 egg ▪️1 tbsp of corn syrup ▪️1 tbsp of vanilla or almond extract
Directions: 1. Mix together flour and salt in a bowl. 2. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl. 3. Stir in egg, corn syrup and extract into the butter/sugar mixture (if you are adding food coloring, do so in this step!) 4. Add salt/flour mixture to the batter gradually, (about 1/3 at a time) until the dough is mixed. 5. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap. Allow to chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour. 6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Shape the cookies. 7. Spray cookie sheet with baking spray or use parchment paper (oven safe), and bake the cookies for 6-10 minutes checking for golden color at the bottom.
